EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon has released a number of seats, including several in the West Grandstand, for next week’s USA Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field.

Single day ticket prices are $25, $20 and $15 for day one and $30, $25 and $20 for days two through four.

All session passes for $100, $80 and $65 are also still on sale.

The top track and field athletes will be competing for a spot on the World’s finest track and field team. The 2011 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will select the members of Team USA who will compete in the IAAF World Championships Aug. 27-Sept. 4 in Daegu, South Korea.

Past, present and future Olympic and World Champions converging on Hayward Field include men’s stars Tyson Gay (100 meters), Nick Symmonds (800 meters), Bryan Clay and Trey Hardee (decathlon), David Oliver (110 hurdles) and Jesse Williams (high jump), as well as women’s standouts Allyson Felix (100 meters), Lolo Jones  (100 meter hurdles), Lauren Fleshman (5,000 meters) and Shalane Flanagan (10,000 meters), among dozens of other track and field luminaries.

Some of the loudest applause emanating from the grandstands will be for recent Oregon graduates like Ashton Eaton (decathlon), Andrew Wheating (800/1,500 meters), Galen Rupp (10,000 meters) and Rachel Yurkovich (javelin), who will join fellow alumni like Keshia Baker (400 meters), Cyrus Hostetler (javelin), Britney Henry (hammer) and Jason Hartmann (10,000 meters) looking to earn a spot on Team USA.

Nearly 40 current, former and future Oregon athletes are entered in the meet.
