Octavious Freeman Goes Pro - Signs with Icon Management

DistancePreps.com - Lake Wales HS grad, 2013 Conference USA Track Athlete of the Year, University of Central Florida rising Junior Octavious Freeman has decided to become a Professional Track and Field Athlete and has signed with Atlanta's Icon Management, Inc. 

This past weekend, Octavious finished 2nd in the USA Outdoor National Track and Field Championships in a school record 10.87 (+1.8) and will represent the United States at the 14th World Championships in Athletics, August 10-18th in Moscow, Russia.

Icon Management was started in 2000 by Kimberly N. Holland and represents several prominent athletes to include Sarah Bowman, Damu Cherry, William Claye, Shawn Crawford, Brenda Martinez, LaShawn Merritt, Duane Solomon, Jeneba Tarmoh and former USC standout Josh Mance amongst others.
